About Me
Colin is a trained manufacturing engineer and skilled machinist, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. While attending BCIT, he worked under master machinist Shane Carr at Carr's Machining, cutting his teeth on job shop machining large and small. After BCIT Colin went on to work at Raceface, a mountain bike component manufacturer, as the production manager of carbon fiber crankarms as well as CEN/JIS/Internal product testing and validation.
After years working for others, Colin struck out on his own and started Dub Manufacturing, a full service design and prototyping studio, where he takes napkin-level sketches and fleshes out ideas into real, ready-to-produce products. It also just so happens to be his happy place, spending countless hours in the shop working on his own projects and ideas.
Shop visits are by appointment only.
